Uses his excellent instincts, anticipation, and length to get to the ball, all over the field. A constant threat for interceptions, yet also does a nice job stepping up against the run and tracking receivers in the secondary for regular tackles. Durable and dependable, and may have some versatility. Lacks top-end foot-speed and is not particularly physical, factors limiting him in man-to-man coverage. Also not an intimidator who will dole out big hits. May be limited to certain alignments and roles that reward his read-and-react skills.
Long Range Potential: Instinctive, playmaking safety (best in a zone defense).
