Athletic, smart and highly accurate, he made quick decisions and had a quick release. Showed quick feet and made plays on the run earlier in his NFL career. Possessed enough size and leadership to be an NFL quarterback. Lacked great arm strength and his deep throws could get a little lofty. Did not have ideal size for an NFL quarterback, which limited his vision on the field (especially for deep throws).
Long Range Potential: Solid backup quarterback.
