Explosive as a playmaker, with a very well-rounded game. Has the speed and fluidity to stay with any receiver and the athleticism and leaping ability for regular pass breakups and pickoffs. Steps up actively against the run and on the blitz, and is a very sound tackler. Tough, smart, and plays like a bigger defensive back. Small for the NFL and somewhat injury-prone. Along with a lack of height he doesn't have a very long wingspan, factors limiting him against jumbo-sized pro receivers. May be limited to zone or nickel duties in some NFL setups.
