Very fluid and athletic for his size, and a sure tackler. Deceptively quick and could get to the QB. Did a nice job shedding blocking and could make plays sideline-to-sideline. Brought the size and mobility to be valuable in several different D-line schemes. His extensive history of serious health issues led to his early retirement. Wasn't explosive off the snap or particularly fast chasing plays. Was somewhat raw in certain areas of his technique.
Long Range Potential: High-motor, athletic defensive end or tackle.
