What does it give the Detroit Lions?
The Lions are familiar with Bostic, who used to play for the division-rival Bears. Detroit GM Bob Quinn is also familiar with him, since he used to work within the New England management group. Bostic will play special teams and back up at linebacker.

What does it give the New England Patriots?
The Patriots acquired Bostic last September from Chicago, and now they moved him onto Detroit. Quite likely, Quinn was Bostic's biggest supporter within the New England organization, which would explain why Bostic is on the move again.

Fantasy Impact
Don't expect much fantasy value here, either from Bostic or from the eventual pick selected in next year's draft.
