The Steelers land a projected starting cornerback in Witherspoon, who is likely to come off the bench in Pittsburgh behind starters Joe Haden and Cameron Sutton. Witherspoon's presence may allow Sutton to play more in the slot most of the time.

The Seahawks do not have a ton of depth at the cornerback positions, so it is a little surprising that they moved Witherspoon at this time. They received back a fifth-rounder, so it does not seem to be one of those deals that are too good to refuse.

Witherspoon is not an ideal IDP option in most fantasy leagues. There should be better options.
