The Seahawks will now be able to pair Dunbar with Shaquill Griffin in what could be the best cornerback tandem in the NFL this season. Griffin and Dunbar should give Seattle the shutdown corner play the team has not had (from both sides of the field) since the days of the "Legion of Boom" secondary, with Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner on the outside. Dunbar has just one season left on his contract, which is the only reason why the 'Hawks were able to land him on the cheap.

The Redskins decided not to re-sign Dunbar, so they were able to get back a fifth-round pick in '20 (after sending a pick in the same round to Carolina in exchange for quarterback Kyle Allen). Without Dunbar, the 'Skins will move forward with former Chief Kendall Fuller, Fabian Moreau and Jimmy Moreland as the likely starters (although Washington may still be looking for more reinforcements at the cornerback position either in free agency or via the draft next month).

Dunbar produced four interceptions for the Redskins last season, which was his career high. Since most teams will probably avoid throwing often to Griffin's side of the field, Dunbar could be a decent source of interceptions again in 2020. He is a decent IDP option for the DB position in a lot of league formats heading into the season.
