JANOVICH JOINS THE BROWNS Friday, March 20, 2020
The Cleveland Browns acquired fullback Andy Janovich from the Denver Broncos for a seventh-round draft pick in 2021.
What does it give the Cleveland Browns?
The Browns reportedly want to feature a fullback in 2020, so adding Janovich here makes sense. He joins an offense that looks potentially dominant going into this season, though he may be used sparingly because of all the talent surrounding him in Cleveland.
What does it give the Denver Broncos?
The Broncos decided to deal away their fullback for a minimal return (seventh in '21) but Janovich had become less involved in the team's offense. Therefore, his loss is not expected to be too crippling. Denver has other options at the position.
Fantasy Impact
Janovich joins a far more potent offense in Cleveland but his fantasy value remains limited. There are only so many available passes that he will be able to catch in this offense. Like most fullbacks not named Kyle Juszczyk, Janovich can be safely ignored on draft day.
