In Fields, the Vikings land a 22-year-old cornerback who appears to be more of a project than immediate contributor for Minnesota. He had a solid preseason, so perhaps the Vikings might decide to throw him into the fire early on.

The Chiefs obviously felt comfortable enough with their depth at cornerback to send Fields packing at this time. In return, Kansas City will get a last-rounder in the '21 draft. It was a nice move for KC to get a pick for a depth corner.

There is no fantasy impact whatsoever here, as Fields may spend much of 2019 on the bench or playing on special teams only. He is not an IDP fantasy candidate.
