What does it give the Cleveland Browns?
The Browns needed some added depth along their defensive line, specifically in the interior. Enter Lawrence, who should play a rotational role along with Jamie Meder, Larry Ogunjobi and Trevon Coley.

What does it give the New Orleans Saints?
The Saints felt comfortable with the depth they currently have on the inside of their defensive line, so they decided to move on from Lawrence (who never played a snap for New Orleans after suffering a season-ending injury last year).
