The Niners were seeking added depth at offensive tackle, so they are taking a flier on Coleman's talent. He will likely serve as a backup to both left tackle Joe Staley and rookie right tackle Mike McGlinchey.

Coleman failed in his time with the Browns, so the club is likely relieved to be moving on here. They were able to land a late-round draft pick in next year's draft, too. Joel Bitonio and Chris Hubbard will play tackle for Cleveland in 2018.

There are no fantasy implications here, as Coleman is an offensive lineman who will probably be used in a backup role this year.
