Kilgore is a proven starter who can step in and be the Dolphins' new top center. He replaces Pro Bowler Mike Pouncey, who asked for his release from the team and received it. The draft pick swap is pretty much insignificant, since it represents almost not movement in the draft.

The Niners have Weston Richburg at center, so moving Kilgore's fairly significant salary is the key here for San Francisco. As mentioned, the draft pick change isn't a factor for either team.

Kilgore is a solid (if not great) replacement for Pouncey, but this deal has little to no fantasy impact for either the Dolphins or the 49ers.
