This is a huge move for the Vikings, who needed a replacement for injured QB Teddy Bridgewater. In Bradford, Minnesota lands a quality signal-caller who is still relatively young (he turns 29 in November). The Vikings believe they are Super Bowl contenders in 2016-17, so giving up a first rounder (and another draft pick) now makes sense for them. Still, the pressure is on Bradford to produce.

For the Eagles, this trade makes all the sense in the world after drafting QB Carson Wentz second overall in this year's NFL draft (and after signing Chase Daniel to a solid contract in the off-season). Keeping three QB's the caliber of Bradford, Daniel and Wentz made little sense, so Philadelphia received a quality futures return in exchange for Bradford (who had been on the trading block for awhile).

This deal may help Bradford's fantasy stock, since there is very little chance he gets replaced in Minnesota (barring more injury troubles). This deal also helps Daniel's fantasy stock for the interim, but the trade really helps Carson Wentz a ton (because he will probably take over as Philadelphia's starting QB sooner rather than later). The biggest loser in this deal is Shaun Hill, who had been the projected starter in Minnesota following the Bridgewater injury. If Bradford plays well in Minnesota, Bridgewater's long-term future with the Vikings may also come into question following the trade.
