Scouting Report
Liked to make the big hit, but was also a consistent body checker. Possessed an all-around game. Could score goals in bunches and owned excellent leadership qualities. Could play either wing position earlier in his career, but eventually settled in on the right side. Could take himself out of position looking for the big hit at times. Also had a tendency to fall into deep goal-scoring slumps, so offensive consistency was an issue with him. Lost some of his speed towards the end of his lengthy NHL career.
Long Range Potential: Aggressive, all-around winger and leader.
