Few question his work rate and ability to constantly battle for possession of the disk; he wins his fair share of puck battles over the course of a hockey contest. A tall winger with a very projectable frame, he was able to put up solid numbers in the USHL mostly by overpowering and outworking his opponents. Is rather raw in terms of his overall offensive ability and needs time to refine his game in the money zone. Also needs to continue to work on his skating in order to measure up to current National Hockey League standards, since he will not be able to outscore his deficiencies at the highest level.
Long Range Potential: Big, industrious winger with upside.
