Was a sure tackler who could line up all over the field, though strong safety was his best position. Mixed very good size with excellent instincts. Read the action well and made plays. Moved well and could stay with speedy receivers if required. His lack of elite-level speed limited him at times in zone coverage. Bit on fake plays at times. Could struggle on occasion when in man coverage. Was not overly physical. On and off the field, he was an inspirational leader.
Long Range Potential: Playmaking safety and great leader.
